Get up in the air!

July 28, 2015

Have you always dreamed of getting a bird’s eye view of the Sanford area and Southern Maine’s rocky coastline? Now you can! Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport offers many different options to get you up in the air. Take a scenic tour in a restored 1933 open cockpit bi-plane or enjoy amazing views from a conventional airplane where everyone gets a window seat. If you crave even more excitement, a helicopter ride may be for you!

Don’t want to just sit back and enjoy the ride? Go on a “Discovery Flight” to find out what it feels like to actually fly the plane – under the watchful eye of a skilled instructor, of course. If you are truly hooked, the flight can count as a lesson toward your pilot license!
