Fact Sheets on Sanford Airport Solar Project, Sanford-Net Fiber and Sanford School Construction Projects

Fact Sheets on Sanford Maine initiatives will be available at polling places November 8.The City of Sanford has created a series of fact sheets to help Sanford and Springvale residents become more informed about major initiatives that are underway in the community. The fact sheets focus on:

The Sanford Airport Solar Project, which will be the largest solar project on an airport in the United States when complete and will make the airport financially self-sufficient. This project now has a second fact sheet created by Next Era Energy, the private energy company building the project.

The Sanford School Construction Project, including both the new $100 million integrated High School and Regional Technical Center and the state-funded proposed improvements to Pre-K through 8 schools throughout Sanford.

The SanfordNet Fiber Project, which will create a 45-mile municipal fiber loop, the largest in the state, providing super high speed internet access more than 100 times faster than the US average.
